On International Women’s Day 2018 our new documentary “Mahila. Women’s Movement Rising” has been launched in Rome at UISG, International Union of Superiors General, to celebrate the power of women helping each other and to support a movement of women walking together to enforce their rights.
The film was presented by

– Winifred Doherty, main NGO representative to the ECOSOC, UN on behalf of the Congregation of Our Lady of the Good Shepherd
More than 100 people attended the screening of the documentary that inspired an enthusiastic debate about the root causes of discrimination and oppression against women and girls and the slow process of growing into consciousness of equal humanity.
